Dont you think the name Collier is exotic?

I mean i am planning on naming my little girl collier (call-yer) andi like exotic names ALOT! dont you think it has a nice exotic ring to it? And no saying, "it sounds like a dog or sounds like a disease in babies!"

It's not a favorite of mine but I've heard worse.

OK, I won't but I will say there is a set of encyclopedias called Colliers, an old magazine with that name, and a major real estate firm by that name. The unifying factor is that Collier is usually a surname.





When used as a first name, it is masculine. The meaning of Collier is "coal miner".





Do you really want to have a "coal miner daughter'?

Hey, you could use Therese (Greek for harvest) as a middle name:


then you could keep the theme of gathering (mining coal AND harvesting).
