Reply:It all depends. I loooove the names Isabella Scarlett and Leonardo Gabriel, and I don't know or care what category they fall on ♥♥♥♥


I tend to choose a name by how it sounds and by it's meaning. I also like.. Violette, Naomi, Raquel, Angelica, Anabelle, Vivienne, Monica, Leilani, and Marina. I think those are somewhat exotic and unique but a couple are also popular.
Reply:You never know what names you will come across in your class. Elizabeth was the most popular name in the year I was born, and happens to be my name! There were no other Elizabeths, but 10 Claires, so you can never really tell. My son has a very popular name and he will not be going to school with another child who has the same name.





Names are popular for a reason I think. I don't mind unique names, it's the wacky ones I don't like. Like Tiger for a girl for instance!
Reply:Traditional names. (A lot of "unique" names are just silly or say more about the ego of the parent, eager to be "different" - not thinking that the child has to live their life, both as a child and as an adult, with the name. What might sound "cute" or "sweet" for a baby, sound just plain silly when applied to an adult.)
Reply:I like traditional names, not old-fashioned though like Ethel, Martha, Malcom etc. Just nice simple names like Daniel, Ryan, Katie.





They suit all ages, I do like some 'unique' names but they have to actually be names nothing like Heaven, Nevaeh an adult with those kind of names just seems awful

I like traditional names - that doesn't necessarily mean names from centuries ago, but words that are actually recognised as being used as a persons name.





I hate these names where if someone just said the word - you wouldn't have a clue what it was...

Reply:Not too common, but not too rare, and not too unique, but just a little out of the ordinary. Pretty vague description probably hey? I hate really rare over the top names and I hate the names that are so common that they will probably have 3 in their class when they start school.
Reply:I like unique names. (i.e. names that are not popular, but that are not overly weird either). We named our first son Abel and these are the names we like for his future siblings:

Reply:I have a fairly unique name (Genevieve) and I've always hated it but most people love it. It's annoying though, as everyone mis-spells or mis-pronounces it. I'd rather have a normal name.

Reply:I like unique, but not TOO unique names. Exotic names are sometimes pretty as well. It really depends on the specific name itself.

Reply:I like family names used in combination with traditional names that are grounded within a family's ethnicity, which may or may not be multi-ethnic.
