Whats better traditional names or unique/exotic names?

I'd rather an exotic name .... I wouldn't want to be called a name most people have. But I wouldn't wanna be called something like Seymour Butts (SeeMore Butts)

Whats better traditional names or unique/exotic names?
Traditional. There is nothing more pathetic than naming your kid Cayden or Hayden or Jayden or Moxie Crimefighter.
Reply:Unique :) is definitely better..because i have the name Emily and it is soo common i dont even like it!!...
Reply:I think it is better to have a traditional name with a traditional spelling. Less embarrassing during role call for the first few weeks of school, work, etc.

Unless you are a celebrity. . . . then you HAVE to name your kid Apple or Moon Unit . . . or else you'll be shunned! lol
Reply:I prefer unique names.
Reply:traditional, u can still b unique and exotic but who wants to go around with the name "rainbow" or "trail" (i actually had a friend named trail once)
Reply:Somewhere in between.
Reply:UNIQUE NAMES ARE BETTER THAT ASHLEY, BECKY AND BRITTNEY.........LOL
Reply:between. my name is shahrzad. here in the us they pronounce it cher-zod. i like it.

try a name from your culture! if you italian, pick an italian one. unique stands you out, just make it sounds the same way its spelt. years and years, no one could pronounce my name!
Reply:I would like an uncommon name, though not necessarily exotic. Just something no one else really has anymore.
Reply:I like traditional names, actually. My kids' names are Claire Elisabeth and Christina (Nina) Emily.
Reply:KerriAnn Wilson
Reply:More traditional
