Do you think the names Sabina or Sabine sound exotic?

Im writing a novel and I dont want the main characters name to sound too exotic. Sabina is Portuguese/Italian/Spanish/Russian and Sabine is French/German.

The main character is mixed with Portuguese, Cuban, French and Afro-Asiatic.

Do you think the names Sabina or Sabine sound exotic?
Sabine is most definitely German. Being from a heavily German family, no, that doesn't sound exotic.
Reply:I'd say it's perfect. It's just interesting enough to be good name for a character, but not wacky enough to sound too unlikely. Personally I prefer Sabine to Sabina.

On an unrelated note, I once knew a German lady named Sabine. She was very nice.
Reply:Use Sabine, because in another novel I read, about a spy named Alex Rider, the girl he liked was named Sabina. Sabina Pleasure LOL!!
Reply:Sabina or Sabrina
Reply:Sabine sounds sexier to me.
Reply:i like Sabina whats the book called.. Good luck!

Merry Christmas!
Reply:I think it is an odd name.
Reply:I'd say Sabine. It has a more sexy, sharp ring to it.
